WESTPORT GETS NEW TECH CAMPUS

If high-paying tech jobs are the future, St. Louis-based, tech giant World Wide Technology is its poster child.

As the second-largest, privately held company in St. Louis, WWT adds an impressive 100 new jobs throughout the region every year!

Needless to say, we were excited to work with WWT to make its new world headquarters a reality.

After a 12-month search, World Wide Technology chose Maryland Heights, more specifically Westport Plaza. The relocation means redevelopment and a breath of new life for the business and entertainment area.

I couldn’t be more proud of World Wide Technology and its 25 years in St. Louis. It is a telling story of entrepreneurship. The startup has matured into an inspiring global powerhouse in less than three decades, growing its staff from seven to 3,000+ and its revenues from less than a million to multi-billion.

It’s no wonder World Wide Technology is the focal point of Westport Plaza’s $95 million revitalization plan. With an infusion of up to 1,000 WWT employees, Westport Plaza is poised for transformation.

So, whether you visit Westport Plaza for work, dining or entertainment, you’ll begin to see major outdoor improvements, extensive tenant enhancements and more garage parking. And by mid-2017, we’ll be celebrating the grand opening of World Wide Technology’s new world headquarters.
