39° North

Venture Cafe at 39 North

Venture Cafe Is Adding An Event the third Tuesday of Each Month

Venture Cafe at 39 North, which will aim to unite innovators, scientists and entrepreneurs, is open to the public, free of charge and complimentary beverages are included.

Local community and business leaders publicly announced 39 North in December.  The new AgTech innovation district in Creve Coeur is expected to build on the area’s already strong leadership position and attract AgTech companies from around the world.  The name came from the 39th parallel north being the physical location of the district.

The Danforth Center, Bio Research & Development Growth (BRDG) Park, Monsanto and Helix Center will serve as anchors for the 600-acre district.  It will stretch from Bauer Boulevard to the north, the edge of Monsanto’s campus to the south, Warson Road to the east and Old Olive Street Road to the west.

St. Louis Economic Development Partnership CEO Sheila Sweeney will moderate a discussion on the future of AgTech, beginning at 4:30 p.m.  Scheduled panelists include:

**  Dr. Derek Bartlem — KWS Gateway Research Center — Managing Director
**  Vijay Chauhan — BioSTL — GlobalSTL Lead
**  Sam Fiorello — Danforth Center — Chief Operating Officer & Senior VP
**  Dr. Robb Fraley — Monsanto — Chief Technology Officer & Executive VP
