NEW POOL OPENS IN SOUTH COUNTY

There’s a lot to know about the new Pavilion at Lemay

Pavilion Ribbon CuttingDid you know…South St. Louis County hasn’t had a new pool in nearly forty years?

The last new pool was in Kennedy Recreation Complex, and it opened in 1976. Now, open for the 2015 season, The Pavilion at Lemay is so much more than a rectangular, concrete pool. You can relax in the lazy river, exercise in the lap pool, or be adventurous on the diving platform or climbing wall.

Did you know…The Pavilion at Lemay is the area’s first community and aquatic center?

Inside the community center, there’s basketball, volleyball, soccer, weight room, and a third-story walking track with a great view. With all of these amenities, the Pavilion at Lemay is still one of the most accessible and affordable community centers in the area.

Did you know…The idea for a community center in Lemay began in 2006?

After thousands of hours of community participation and preparation, today, the Pavilion is filled with people of all ages splashing and laughing, getting together and getting fit.

Did you know…People love it? You will too.

With more than 15,000 people having walked through our doors in the first three weeks, the Pavilion at Lemay is the place for anyone in the St. Louis area to suit up and splash down this summer.

We at St. Louis County Parks couldn’t be more proud. Learn more about the Pavilion and follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ThePavilionatLemay
